About Us
Meet Brian and Susie Bowles – Integrating Country and City Cultures Together Since 2005.
We live on a 7.5 acre mini farm, which has taken many years to transform it from a previous hog farm to where it is today. We have several interests: mine being—Hope Reins—“Healing of People Everywhere,” which is to be a ministry/therapy for anyone that is in need of the unconditional love that horses/mini donkeys can provide. We also raise feeder steers, meat chickens, and have layer chickens, along with dogs and cats…I currently give lessons to beginner riders and help 4H riders improve their riding skills. Brian has a workshop in our garage where he does special types of woodworking products when he isn’t working on projects as a remodeler Troy Ohio. Currently working on floating shelves and Unity Crosses.
We did not achieve this overnight; it has taken us 20 years to grow to where we are…It has taken a lot of commitment to our family, each other and Almighty God. We would not be where we are today if we did not put God in the first place of our lives. We like to incorporate this type of commitment to our customers as your remodeler Troy Ohio and the greater Dayton Metropolitan area, where we strive to make our customer feel more like a part of our family. Our goal is to help transform our customers’ dreams into reality.
One of our strong points is that we not only update and beautify your home—we embrace the flaws and imperfections to help create a more beautiful home. We can heal from our wounds, embrace our imperfections, and become stronger together.
Not only can we beat our competitors’ pricing, but we also offer craftsmanship, workmanship and fellowship. You are not only a potential customer—you are family!!!
We will share an explanation of who we are, what we encourage, and how we, as a remodeler Troy Ohio, can be a service to your transformation into living spaces that reflect your own special culture, contained within the very walls of your family home.
Susie and I crossed paths during previous employment, a career choice and path that was the foreshadow of the things to come. We believe that many in this world that we live with probably wrestle with the fact that in this life, do we have a purpose? Are we serving this purpose effectively or just buying a space of time to wait until retirement, a lucky break, or a life-changing event redirects us in ways that we could not prepare for?
In this instance, several significant events transpired concurrently, leading us to initiate a relationship characterized by mutual exploration and observation of one another’s lifestyles.
One thing we noticed, and another we placed into action, was to make changes—small, incremental, and in faith that we could accomplish such a feat.
This view, seen on this page, unfolded over a period of 17 years. Prior to this homestead, we lived in a newly constructed home on 2.5 acres of land and diligently cleared 30 large trees from the property to make room for a Horse stable and pasture to complement Susie’s love of horses and the mystery of having the presence of these creatures on a daily basis. However, after the land was cleared and we stepped back to truly view and take in the property, we realized that we needed a different approach to make our dreams become a reality.
As a result, Susie located a farm on 7.5 acres with multiple livestock buildings and an updated home for the beginning of something new. When I first viewed this land, I was one hundred percent against this idea until something out of the ordinary happened. That morning, before walking through the property, I had read a Thomas Kincaid entry that focused on family culture and the importance of family identity and value. As we walked through this farm with the owner, he shared the history of this land that began generations ago with draft horses, shifted to cattle, and then ended with being a farm for raising pigs. Upon leaving, it was very obvious that our family would make our claim on this land and transform it into an extension of a renewed family culture. What started with horses would be transitioned back to such and extended to cattle, chickens, and domestic pets—a living sanctuary.
We offer the incremental steps to achieving a broader purpose for your homestead, one item at a time, one statement to a view that draws you closer to a God who is the creator of your family culture. For us, being a remodeler Troy Ohio, each project becomes more than a single task on a list—it becomes a reflection of the values that you hold and the memories you are continuously building.
We began Hammer-N-Nails on May 10, 2013, with a bucket of tools and a Honda Accord. Since then, we have serviced over 500 projects as a remodeler Troy Ohio and the greater Dayton Metropolitan area, and have grown incrementally by fulfilling the dreams and requests from our customer base. This is an organic call, originating from scratch, with a prayer and the realization that we are in need of the customers’ experiences, along with our experience, to fulfill a service pleasing to both. As you view our services, keep in mind that we are here to fulfill your dreams and transform them to fully incorporate the unique culture that gives life to the walls surrounding you.
Thank you and God Bless!
